Stone Fairy Homes
Natural Stone Fairy Houses for the Magical Little People in Your Garden
- Welcome to our unique line of natural stone fairy houses. All it takes is a little imagination and a welcoming spirit to create your own fun and enchanting space in your landscape.
We all want to believe in the magical world. And, many of us want to add this
whimsical element to our garden. Thus, we have created Stone Fairy Homes
as an oppportunity for everyone to create their own magical place in their garden.
About Our Stone Fairy Homes
Our stone fairy homes are made of weathered limestone. The doors are made of reclaimed natural redwood or white cedar. Each of the doors is adorned with either 1 or 2 antique brass hinges and door knob to match. Behind each door is a core-drilled area for a small living quarters for the gnomes and fiaries. You may also use this area to hide tiny trinkets or notes for anyone who wants to visit.
Types
Below are the different types of Stone Fairy Homes we carry.
Garden Cottages - Our smallest fairy houses. Typically less than 35 lbs and 10" or less on each side.
Double Door Villas - These fairy houses have 2 doors, thus two cavities for extra living space, treats and trinkets!
Fairy Castles - The fairy homes are slightly larger than the Garden Cottages...made to attract the more elite crowd of fairies and gnomes!
Hideaway Homes - for the adventurous fairies or gnomes. These have either cracks or holes in the cavity for a special "escape" route. These holels or cracks are a natural part of the stone and adds to the mystique and fun of your fairy garden. You may even be surprised to find inside a tree frog or other little creatures!
Magic Mountain Fairy Homes - They are larger than the other limestone fairy houses and made from many different types of rocks such as limestone, bluestone, quartzite, crystals which are mortared together. They may have more than one door/cavity. You must make an appointment at our Displaly Garden to purchase Magic Mountain Fairy Houses or visit us at the Minnesota State Fair.
Care & Placement
Our stone fairy homes may be left outside in the elements. With occasional lubrication to the hinges, they are meant to weather naturally and be enjoyed year-round and in all climates. They are not cut flat on bottom so they may need to be levelled or stabilized with dirt or mulch in the garden to positon them just right.
How to Purchase
We have a Display Garden in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota that is open by appointment or during special open events. Please visit our Display Garden and Events section for more information.
